Hi! We are the Moore Family!
Michael, Andrea, and Everhett! 

Our family began when we got married in 2019. Though we have west coast roots, we have loved creating a home and growing a family in our little Florida beach town. From the day we met back in college, through years of long-distance dating, the wonder and newness of marriage, health challenges, changes in career/ministry, searching for community, bringing home a new baby, growing in faith, and times of joy and hardship - purposefully pursuing Christ and one another has been integral to our relationship. We love talking about prioritizing and nurturing what matters most to us: God, Marriage, Family, Health, and Ministry. We do not claim nor seek to become experts in these fields, but simply aim to be faithful. Faithful in stewarding all the Lord has blessed us with for His glory. We are glad you are here to join us as we continue to live on purpose!

Welcome to Our Blog!

God designed marriage and family for more than just our earthly pleasure. God gave us these gifts to draw believers toward Him. In the most intimate of relationships, we experience true love and sacrifice, understanding more about His character.

Every day we walk in obedience to God, no matter the menial task or major hardship, we become more like Him. In this way, our marriages and families become the training grounds for never-ending faith exercises, always providing the opportunity to fulfill the command to love God and love others.

Our task is to practically apply His principles in all aspects of our lives - in every nook and cranny! We find that we are able to do this best when we intentionally craft systems and build culture in our family that both supports the healthy function of our household and its' Godly growth.

We hope you stick around to explore how God uses marriage and family to build up the Body of Christ - calling husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers to seek His glory. On the blog, you will find regular posts discussing all sorts of topics pertaining to marriage, family, faith, running a home, personal growth, etc. We will be sharing some of our tried and true systems as well as new things we are learning or working to improve in our home. Sometimes, we will simply be sharing the latest topic we have enjoyed discussing with each other!

We are continually seeking new ways to steward all that God has placed in our care. We hope to encourage you in this endeavor as well, having been built up by mentors, teachers, pastors, authors, and friends along the way too. It is our hope that you find value here, get inspired, steal ideas, and start conversations with your spouse/family/friends about how you can live more purposefully.

At the very least we hope to continually remind you that God gave us everything we need for creating a family and building a home in His Word. The design and purpose of marriage and family as expressed through the scriptures is the foundation upon which a healthy and happy home thrives. Keep seeking His glory and pursuing a life on purpose.
